If you have spent much time out in nature you have probably seen some of the strange ways that trees can grow. They find a way to continue their growth no matter what gets in their way. Here are just a few of the trees I’ve found with some rather fascinating growth.
One night when leaving work I noticed that the image of the clouds was reflecting perfectly off the office windows. For a few minutes that day the normally ugly office building looked like it actually fit into the natural world.
During the return flight from our trip to Seattle our plane climbed above the clouds to avoid stormy weather. When I looked out the window it reminded me of photos I had seen of the Earth from space. I was able to get these shots from the airplane window.
During our trip to Telluride, Colorado we decided to go for a hike outside of town. In the wood right next to the trail we found several trees covered in bear scratches. Many of the scratches were higher than I could reach.
